Falcon FSDS Truck/Trailer Mounted CAF Dispersal System

The Falcon FSDS™ manufactured by Intelagard is a large-scale Compressed Air Foam (CAF) truck and trailer system capable of dispersing standard fire suppression foams, Hazmat foams and EasyDECON Decontamination Solution.

The powerful 1030-gallon (3900-L) Falcon FSDS™ features multiple dispersal options for application of either foams or liquids. The dispersal options include an on-board 100- foot (30-m) hose reel for up to 100-foot (30-m) stream projection, and a trailer-mounted spray bar for uniform ground coverage.

The optional truck configuration allows a third dispersal option. A truck mounted deck gun enables the user to project sustained amounts of liquid or foam without user fatigue. The truck-mounted cage and monitor may be configured to work with most existing vehicles.

The Falcon FSDS™ is designed with full drafting capabilities for rapid self-refill of formulas from totes or other bulk storage containers.

Falcon FSDS Specifications

• Fluid capacity: Single polypropylene fluid tank, constructed as (2) 500-gal and (1) 30-gallon compartments. Smaller or larger sizes available upon request.
• Foam cell capacity adjustable to fit specifications.
• Standard System Size: 7 feet (2.1-m) wide x 43 feet (13.1-m) long x 7 feet (2.1-m) high (including truck). May be sized smaller or larger depending on fluid tanks, trailer and vehicle size, and configuration requirements.
• Energy Source: Compressor driven, choice of gas or diesel engine.
• Operating pressure: Pre-set regulation at 110 psi.
• Projection Distance: Foam projection streams up to 100-feet (30-m) with deck gun and standard air compressor.
• Versatility: May be configured to utilize A/B, AFFF, AR-AFFF foam agents (1% and 3% foams) and decontamination formulas.
• Dispersal options: 100-foot hose, Spray bar and optional truck mounted monitor.
• Foam Expansion: Produces up to 25,000-gal (94.6-kl) of expanded foam per tank (at 25:1 expansion ratio) for decontamination foam, and up to 35,000-gallons (132.5-kl) of A/B, AFFF and AR-AFFF foam concentrates (at 35:1 expansion ratio, 1% and 3% foam concentrates).
