EasyDECON 200 Selected by the MARCORPSYSCOM and Receives National Stock Number
Huntsville, Ala., September 30, 2002 -- EnviroFoam Technologies received a second major award for decontamination solution in support of a CENTCOM emergency use for Joint Services U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORPSYSCOM) requirement. This additional order of EasyDECON™ 200 will be fielded to replace existing stockpiles of DS2 in the military inventory for biologic and chemical warfare.
EnviroFoam Technologies of Huntsville, AL, is currently preparing to ship the first order of EasyDECON™ 200 acquired by SBCCOM for the same CENTCOM directive. EasyDECON™ 200 is an environmentally friendly decontaminant based on technology licensed from Sandia National Laboratory. EasyDECON™ has proven effective against both biologic and chemical agents, can be applied simply with current military hardware, has shown no collateral damage in a multitude of field trials and creates a decon effluent capable of being washed down the drain.
