EPA Approval

Manufactured by EnviroFoam Technologies, Inc, EasyDECON™ 200 Decontamination Solution Receives U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Registration.

Huntsville, Alabama
December 20, 2004 -- EnviroFoam Technologies (EFT) received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for EasyDECON™, a decontamination solution with commercial and defense applications.

EasyDECON™ 200 Decontamination Solution is an environmentally friendly blend that neutralizes both chemical and biological warfare agents, as well as, certain common environment problems including mold and mildew.

EasyDECON™ 200 has been procured by the U.S. Military for use in world wide theaters of operation for the past 18 months. Over the past three years, EFT has been complying with the EPA and continuing laboratory live agent testing and environmental studies; the success of this testing has resulted in the EPA registration.

EFT, headquartered in Huntsville, Ala., is a licensee of the Department of Energy's Sandia National Laboratories for the commercialization of the decontamination technology originally developed by Sandia National Laboratories of Albuquerque, NM. The company provides its decontamination products directly to the federal government and through a distribution network to local government agencies, as well as strategic commercial and industrial markets. EFT is an operating entity of the WestWind Group.

EFT has also found specific commercial applications for this product in dangerous household mold remediation. Studies concerning mold plaguing homeowners, and the health concerns for people living in and around the mold, have been on EFT’s forefront for the past year. “We have been conducting several laboratory and private case studies and the results are extremely promising” says Dave Otterson, CEO of WestWind Group.

EasyDECON™ 200 is available for purchase by trained Hazardous Site personnel and mold remediators through EFT’s distributors Intelagard, Inc. of Broomfield, CO, and 48hour DECON of Antioch, CA.
